| | | Re: Canon 70-200/70-300 ? Well I got my Tamron 70-300 USD VC lens from Amazon UK , little disappointed that the included paperwork indicated that it wasn"t an official lens imported through UK main dealership, although to be fair Intro 2020 ( Tamron importers ) confirm support of 5 yr warranty as lens bought from Amazon UK ( not market place ) .
Just didn"t feel right on my camera and a person on a photography forum who also bought the lens at the same time as me compared its performance against the Canon 70-200 f4L ( non is ) .
His tests indicated the Canon produced better IQ/AF than the Tamron .
So the Tamron is going back to Amazon tomorrow and this morning I got a 12 month old Canon 70-200 F4L ( non is ) in mint condition.
The seller was fairly local to me ( Rochdale ) and I was able to test and inspect the lens prior to purchase .
Now very happy and glad I changed my mind

Mark | The chap who I bought the 70-200L from this morn replaced his with one , he is very happy with it but as you say fair bit heavier.
