Friday the 13th when everything turned to blue and gold ... the light arrived the wildlife came with it and three photographers shot themselves into bliss

Even on holiday rarely do days like this one occur - the only thing short of perfect was me - cos I haven't got used to the settings on the 1D yet and hadn't got the focusing set up right - consequently I missed the bittern fly-by (his nibs didn't miss it - what a shot Ian has taken - two in fact - there's another just as good ....) The times, days, hours that I have walked round the Lower HIde at Leighton Moss and sat and sat and sat and sat some more I can't begin to number how many or how much and on Fri 13th it all came together Don't ya just love it when a plan finally comes good



... I suspect it might be a long time before another day the likes of this one arrives ...

Just one word....WOW!!!!!....oh, and a few more...if it wasn't for the patience of dedicated photographers, and that goes for photographing all areas of nature, the rest of us newbies wouldn't have a clue as to what can be acheived!
