| |  canon lens wanted
Hi all,
Great forum here, I have read many many posts but never registered till today nor written! Well I'm on the lookout for a prime; just got outbid on ebay on a 500mm f4, bidding finished at £2835. So if anyone knows of one then would love a message! Many thanks all.

I've just sourced a 300mm 2.8 but no hood or tripod collar so if anyone has any info on either of those would be much appreciated! cheers |

I believe the tripod collar is quite expensive as well.
Many say that this is Canon's "BEST" lens, but if you need 500mm then the 500 is better, thought I am told Canon t/c's work very well with it.
