| | | Canon Macro Twin lite compatability
I currently use the Sigma EM-140 Ring flash with my treasured Sigma 150mm macro. I have given the combo a real beating this year and the ring flash is beginning to show signs of wear and tear and I will need to replace it soon. I wouldn't hesitate in replacing it with another Sigma Ring flash but I really like the look of the Canon Twin Lite-24EX flash. However, despite scouring the internet, I don't know if the Canon Flash will fit on to Sigma macro 150mm. I'm certain that this must be achievable but would really appreciate feedback from anyone who uses this combination or who have tried and failed. Thanks in advance.

I believe you need the canon 72-C adaptor |

Squishy is correct. You can get adapters to fit the flash to a number of different lenses. The 72-C is for any lens with a 72mm thread.
Like you I had a Sigma ring flash. Nothing wrong with that but it didn't work effectively with my MP-e65 lens so I also went for the 24EX twin lite.
Being a Canon flash it does offer more options. | | |
