Now that insect was very obliging. I was almost touching it with the lens. Actually the 150mm is not the best lens to use with extension tubes as the higher the magnification of the basic lens the less extra magnification you get when using tubes. A 90mm lens would give even more magnification that this shot. |

You can make out the compound eyes of inverts with my £40 microscope. |
