| | | Monitor for photo editing I know this has been asked before but technology moves on. Can anyone recommend a monitor for photo editing, budget of around £100 to £200 but would be willing to go a little higher if its worth it.
A complenting graphics card to go with it would be possible to, my current one is 2 or 3 years old at least. |

| | | Re: Monitor for photo editing I recommended this one a while ago
ViewSonic VP2365WB 23-Inch IPS LCD Monitor
Two recommended by computer shopper in your price range;
22" Ilyama E2208HDD £110
24" Viewsonic VA2448-LED £124
I use a BenQ FP783 BenQ LCD Monitor 21.5" Wide G2220HD Black - Tesco.Direct
Graphics card, upgrade to match your motherboard, best query online with your set up details for the best match

| | | Re: Monitor for photo editing If you've got the space, a high quality CRT monitor can be had for a 'knock-down' price. I bought my 23 inch Mitsubishi 'Diamond Plus 230 SB' for £12 from a car boot sale and it's excellent for photo editing.

| | | Re: Monitor for photo editing I would definitely go for an IPS monitor. As well as the Viewsonic already mentioned, have a look at the Dell 23" (probably the same as the Viewsonic ) Dell UltraSharp U2311h 23" DVI-D Monitor | Ebuyer.com
When I worked in professional photography we used Dell Ultrasharp monitors extensively.

| | | Re: Monitor for photo editing I replaced a NEC CRT monitor with a 'Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA 22inch E-IPS Monitor' two years ago and find it to be excellent.
I use an 'Eye-One Display 2' to calibrate it on a regular basis. This I do every two months but find very little adjustment if any is required.
Worth considering!

I'll avoid posting a link but you can search for LG IPS231P-BN.AEU 23 inch Backlit Wide Screen Full HD LCD LED IPS Monitor
and you can find it for a around £250 at a number of places |
