| | | Advice needed on photography peripherals Hi all,
we often need to get in water, or the mud, to come relatively close (10-15 meters) to birds for some photoshoots. We therefore need to protect our cameras and lenses from getting soaking wet. Anybody has any advice / tried anything in the field that works well? |

| | | Re: Advice needed on photography peripherals If you are talking about splashing then the best thing to do would be get decent cameras and lenses that are weather sealed and get some good insurance! Whack on a rain cover: Here and you should be ok for plenty of splashing.
If you want protection from dropping it in the water you would probably need to look at the specialist waterproof "boxes" that are used for underwater photography.
Decent insurance that covers water and other damage is a must though if you havent already. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
