| | | Re: Lenses & Converters I use a Stofen diffuser with a Manfroto 330 bracket and am trying my version of Lord Vs bamboo support, which on its own works fine, but I have a plywood bracket, with a hole to allow it to be moved up or down but locks when pressure is applied, that takes the weight of the outfit.
Good luck, it is a fascinating subject

| | | Re: Lenses & Converters Hi Dennis, have just had a kwik look at your site and am stunned. I wouldn't worry about running out of things to moan about because if you're not happy with the examples I saw, then you'll always find something to girn about. I wish mine were half as good.

| | | Re: Lenses & Converters I am thinking to see if I can do it (not very good at DIY) by using an empty round plastic DVD-R Tub. Putting some silver paper (cooking foil) inside and making the slot to slot over the Flash-gun. It would just stop at the end of the lens. Worth a try.
Hi jackaroo--Thank's for looking at me site. Glad you liked what you saw.

| | | Re: Lenses & Converters Erm... Dennis,
How long have you been taking macro shots with malice aforethought? Because if you've only just started I would be jumping up and down with the majority of the Macro shots on you August listing. Is this a case of wanting to run before you can walk? Dennis, we all have to start a field somewhere, yes if you can take stunning pictures in another field then we get impatient, just remember that there is no-one more harsh a critic on your shots than yourself!
All the best
