It's not huge and heavy, just 'normal' size. I think it's the way it's being held that make it look big.

It's an Olympus E1. Plenty of users, some professional, state that they rinse theirs off under the shower after they've been in sea spray. There's clips on Youtube showing this.

The bulk of my photo gear may be waterproof but, unfortunately, I am not!
