| | | Re: Macro Flash Diffuser Until I switched to the MT-24 flash unit I used to use a modified Lambency diffuser (on a 580 EXII Speedlite) for high magnification macro shots and it worked fairly well. But it did require a fair bit of modification, including lining the outside with kitchen foil to prevent massive light loss.
I agree in general that there are no real off-the-shelf solutions for macro diffusion, especially for the MT-24. Like Graham, I'm amazed Canon don't produce something themselves.
