Canon A410 problem

Hi does anyone know what the no "E18" error means on my camera screen? . It will view photos already on the card but will not let me take any more photographs. The card is not full and the batteries are fully charged It has not been dropped or anything like that.

I have just googled "Canon A410 errors". It seems to be a problem with the lens sticking.

In most of the cases, the errors that you get related to your digital camera is related to the memory card that it uses. So, first check it out for any problems. If it is not full then may be the file format that it uses has gone corrupt somehow which is obstructing the camera to snap pictures. So, format your memory card and then try to use it. I am pretty much sure that it will fix your problem. And if you are worried regarding the photos that you loss during the card formatting process, you can get it easily using any third party photo recovery software.
