New Canon SLRs on the horizon
It seems Canon will be releasing a couple of new SLRs soon,the 600D looks the most interesting so far.

Just going by the basic specs it looks like it is being aimed at the fully auto market; probably designed for people who want to move up from one of the simple point and shoot cameras.

Somehow, I think I will still keep my trusty 40D for now.

A new zoom lens is also being introduced. This may interest wildlife photographers but it is expected to have a hefty price tag. As well as the WAB thread, it is being discussed on this site New Canon 200-400mm f/4L IS 1.4xTC Lens & Canon 270EXii

The swivel screen is a really nice feature.

Apart from that though, they don't seem to have changed much from the 550D.

I saw somewhere that the 600D isn't replacing the 550D but is running along side it as a midway camera between the 550D and 60D!
