| | | Re: cha error Are you using the correct specification cards? Buy well known brands from a reputable dealer, scrap your old cards and try a new one.

| | | Re: cha error Yes, as Nightshade suggests, see page 200 of your instruction book.
If you have downloaded all pics on card, romove and replace it, give it a little
'wriggle' to ensure good contact and then format the card.
It should be OK.

| | | Re: cha error Taking the card out while the camera is still writing to it will cause problems
as will not reformatting in the camera.

| | | Re: cha error i've tried new cards, fully charged batteries etc slipping a piece of card in next to the cf card seemed to do the trick for a while but there doesn't seem to be a permanent cure so i guess i'll have to get a camera. was thinking of upgrading anyway but hoping to spend more on the lens and try to put off buying a body for a while
thanks for your replys |

| | | Re: cha error Why not ask Nikon service for advice and upgrade the software to the D70S
specification these are very good cameras.

| | | Re: cha error i have upgraded to the latest firmware, and from what i have read on other forums nikon don't have the answer. it appears to be a problem with the card reader 1 guy said he replaced the reader part and that cured the problem. it seems to have happened to quite a number of d70 bodies i was wondering if it happens on other models too. mind you i have had my d70 since they first released them so perhaps i'm due a new body anyway | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
