| | | Re: I've killed my lens! The Christmas break held things up slightly but the lens was collected on New Year's Eve and I got a call on Thursday to say that it's been assessed as beyond economic repair. They offered me the same model as a replacement and I decided to go with that. I've always been happy with the quality and I like the flexibility that the 5x zoom range gives. So it's just a matter of waiting for the delivery which will hopefully be next week.
Pretty good service from both the insurance company and the claim handlers so far!

Jolly decent of them to offer you a replacement.
Glad you got it sorted Dave.

| | | Re: I've killed my lens! The new lens should be delivered on Monday, and I'll be pampering it too. I don't think they'll be very happy if I end up claiming a second time for the same lens!
