| | | Flexible Tripod from ALDI Got these for sale in Aldis at the moment for £8.99, cheaper than the Gorillapod.
That is if anyone is thinking about one, or as a stocking filler ALDI - Thursday Special Buys 9th December 2010

| | | Re: Flexible Tripod from ALDI That will be money well spent.
Kerso, who was recomended to me on WAB has it for £920 including postage.
His shop is Flash Camera on ebay. Ian Kerr (Kerso) ebay.
I'm on the verge. Trying to justify in buying the 400mm f5.6 or going for the 70-200 f4 + 150mm Macro.
Will let you know.
Happy New Year.

Dennis | Cor flipin 'eck that's a bit of a difference, 70-200 f4 or the 400mm f5.6
Have you seen this Dennis, I know it's not the 70-200 but talks about the 400mm Canon 400mm f/5.6 L versus Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L - Canon Digital Photography Forums

Problem now is this...100-400mm or 400mm LOL
Thanks for meeting us at Wetlands today (Sunday) enjoyed the day.
Don't know if you have looked at the images you took with my 150-500mm yet, if so, how do they look to you.?
Images looked good on my 7D but not so good on Comp. Will work on them soon then post a few on internet for comments.
See you soon.

I've got one to use with my compact and for that it's just fine. I certainly wouldn't put anything heavy on it though! |
