| | | Bean bag & OS I prefer to use a bean bag to a tripod, today i bought the
Sigma 150-500mm f5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM and wondered if when using my bean bag wether to knock the OS off any ideas please

| | | Re: Bean bag & OS I have not used the Sigma OS systems but the newer Canon IS systems are tripod (beanbag?) sensing, so as all Sigma OS is new it's probably OK. I have the Canon 300 f4is which is not tripod sensing but it doesn't seem to matter when I forget to switch off IS - which I usually do!
Suggest you look at the lens manual, ask Sigma or just go and play and see what happens! I suspect you will not have a problem OS on or off.
