| | | Fuji Sensia slide film I've just read that even Sensia slide film is now to be stopped - with immediate effect.
Although I use digital SLRs I still take some slides. If anyone has seen a digital projector presenation which is (honestly) as good and as sharp as colour slides please let me know!
Velvia and Provia will remain, but they obviously cost far more than good old Sensia, which became such an excellent vibrant slide film.
Sad news I think. |

Sad news I think. | Quite agree. The ability to change ISO from shot to shot and to be able to shoot high ISO (or 400 max in the case of my D2X ) is very useful but I do miss the special quality that slide film possesses.
I used to use Kodachrome 25 for macro work (till its sad demise in 2002), Velvia for landscapes and Sensia 100 for sport and general photography. Still got a filing cabinet full of slides that look superb when projected or on a light box. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
