| | Canon 30d or Nikon D200?? I'm thinking of upgrading my Canon 350d but dont know whether to stick with canon and go for a 30d or swap to Nikon and get a D200. Anybody got any tips on which one I should get?? |

A few more, largely unused, features on the D200 but the article concluded to save your dough and get the D80.
The result on here will be a resounding Canon 95% / Nikon 5% win as there are so many of us. If you have Canon lenses why change?
If you dont have lenses, keep the 350 and buy lenses instead.
They are undoubtedly both great cameras but popularity will make this a Canon thumbs up thread.
I have both the 400D and 30D by the way, and the 17-85IS, 100-400IS 50mil f1.4, and the Siggy's 12-24 and 105 Macro. I am pretty happy with my lot.

As Boddie has said you will find that Canon is the most popular opinion on here, that's not saying the Nikon isn't any good. They are an excellent camera as well, it's just a matter of personal choice, but since I assume you already have Canon lenses I would stick with them. I have the 350D and have recently bought the 400D and am very pleased with both of them.

If you have a Canon 350 and lenses it would be best to stick with a Canon, to change to Nikon could prove an expensive option.

| | | Re: Canon 30d or Nikon D200?? That is a very sensible decsion too many people chop and change and never learn to use what they have got properly! The 350 is a very good piece of kit along with the nikon d50!
