Having this conversation with a friend the other day as he was looking at my Sigma RF. He had the same problem but as the flash comes with two adaptors we agreed with a bit of choice filing in the right places, he'll be able to get the flash to fit snugly with one of the provided rings without dishing out even more money. Worth a try, what have you got to lose

Alternatively, SRB Griturn do an extensive range of step up / down adaptors so might have something suitable.
I just bought a reversing ring and adaptor to reverse one of my standard zooms onto the 105mm macro. Just having a play really, seeing how close I can get.

Now all I need is a dry day with minimum or zero wind to set up on the tripod and try to get some really close focusing on very still subjects.
