hello everyone,advise please thinking of getting a lumix dmcfz7 have already got a nikon l100 would this be a big change in photo quilty

I would think not very much.

The DMC-FZ7 has been around for more than 4 years now, and its specification is somewhat dated when compared to todays superzoom bridge cameras.

For example it is only 6Mp. (Also its maximum zoom equivalent is 432mm - only 12mm more than the L100).

OK, it does have full manual control options, but even so, unles you are able to pick one up for next to nothing, I wouldn't be considering it when there are far better options now avaiilable.
