Canon 7D batteries question ....

All very reassuring Graham ....... trouble is - its just started raining - who told the weather I was going away then? Does the 7D perform welll in the rain??!!!! I guess I'm about to find out!

It's not something I would recommend for extended periods though, as although the camera (and your 'L' series lenses) is weather sealed it doesn't like getting absolutely 'drenched' (see photo), although it recovered just fine after I'd dried off out and warmed it up a bit. I've bought a rain cover for mine now - and it hasn't rained while I've been out since I got it - how's that for an insurance policy !

I'm very pleased with my 7D - I'm also lucky that when I got mine some friendly fellow togs helped me customise mine so that it is set up for what I photograph e.g. birds in flight ('back button focusing' is a whole new ball game!).
