Im off to greece for a couple of weeks and Ive decided ratehr than buy 100s of sd cards I'll get one of those portable digital photo storage devices that let you upload from your sd card onto the inbuilt portable drive. Does anyone have any recommendations on any particular device? |

Are you certain this is the best solution? On the last day of your holiday, if some scroyle half inches your PDPSD, the you've lost all your pictures - but if you have lots of SD cards scattered in various bits of your loggage and clothing, you're unlikely to lose everything. Same applies if you drop it in the bath, sea, beer (or other abundant liquid of your choice).

I have a flashtrax - but thats a bit dated now, I know mr rouse uses the jopbo gigavu - with a gigaone for secondary back up, but to be hoest if you are staying in a hotel with access to power and broadband your best bet would be to take a netbook and upload the pics to a digital vault site - then even if the hardware did get nicked or go swiming the pictures will still be safe in cyberspace
