Doing a fair bit of walking since I retired last year and always take the bino"s with me , purchased a bridge camera last year a Panasonic FZ38 but find I am not taking it out unless I leave the bino"s at home ( which I dont want to do ) .
So am considering swopping the FZ38 for a more easily carried superzoom compact , such as ,
Panasonic TZ7
Pansonic TZ10
canon SX20is
Any comments or suggestions ? , leaning towards Panasonic as hd movie mode is useful

Decided on the TZ10 which is coming 2mos.

Wouldnt bother with tz10 for the difference in price,tz7 is great.
Leica designed optics,12x zoom,25mm wide angle,high def video with sound and also zoom capability when recording.
3" lcd screen with ajustable brightness,easy to see in direct sunlight.
intelligent auto mode,detects the scene ie portrait or macro,landscape and adjust camera automatically without your input.
The tz10 is just 12mp and full amnual control,ie,shutter and aperture priority.
