thanks for the tips so far,

its going to be a fairly extreme job, think deadliest catch but on a long liner (though im not a fisherman on the boat)

trying to prioritize the money im spending before heading south on warm gear first and then a camera etc and possible a new mp3 player as think my little 32gb iphone might not hold enough variation to last that long
