expedition equipment
im going to a inhospitable environment and the amount of gear will be limited, its a long trip so many pics but thats the issue

Is there a reliable card reader/backup storage devise i can take? don't want to take a laptop etc as the environment wont be suitable

Andy Rouse swears by the giga vu pro for back up - however if you are going to be away from mains power for a long time that will be another set of batteries to carry - sop in that instance the best bet is just to take a stack of compact flash (or whatever your camera takes) card - digital media is cheap now and these are small and light and easy to carry
