Anyone with any opinions on the mega pixel race when it comes to sharp images in wildlife photography?
It seems that manufactures are intent on increasing the pixels but has it gone too far?
I know that it all depends on what we do with images but I imagine that most people wouldn't want to go above A3 for printing say. |

Useful for cropping but at the cost of more noise, especially with small sensors |

The fad for chinese manufacturers has always been "interpolation" where they can magically transform their 2MP camera into a 10MP... All the while with a quite disgusting lens! | | | |
