You should have got a manual in the box with your 7D. They are wrapped in cellophane with all the the other stuff and EOS discs.

If it was an imported one I am not sure what you would get. I would insist the retailer obtains the manual and full set of paperwork and discs for the camera or you will return it for a refund.

Yes seltech agree with you. Despite phoning the company on the day of delivery ( see above ) to request the manual, quick guide and warranty card I had still not received it by today's post so the camera was parceled up and returned to the company.

I have a suspicion that the camera was a returned one that they sent me.

I think you have done the right thing Red Squirrel, the thought it was not new would always have been at the back of your mind.

I hope you are able to source another 7D soon. They are a terrific camera and I am so pleased with mine.
