| | | Just Joined : Panasonic FZ18 : Telephoto Lens Hi : have just joined after finding a thread re the above camera. Some of the photos are brilliant and I can't wait to delve deeper.
Just treated ourselves to a Panasonic Telephoto lense for the above and have been out and about a few times getting used to it. Major triumph was a short of a Kingfisher across a lake in Somerset, close to where I live. Can't wait to use it more and wondered if any other members have this camera/lens.

| | | Re: Just Joined : Panasonic FZ18 : Telephoto Lens I borrowed/stole my girlfriends fz18 (owning my own fz7) for the first 6months of last year and have to say its a great bit of kit, especillay considering how much it costs. I looked at the telephoto attachment for it and the fz7 but the price put me off and a wasnt sure how good the final image quality would be. |

| | | Re: Just Joined : Panasonic FZ18 : Telephoto Lens I had the raynox dcr-1540 1.54x teleconverter which was a great lens!
I also tried the tokina 3x telephoto lens but that was a huge disappointment, images were covered in purple fringing

| | | Re: Just Joined : Panasonic FZ18 : Telephoto Lens It's been early days because of the weather but have so far been very pleased. Even attached to the camera, I walk very comfortably carrying it around my neck.
When the weather improves, Spring arrives, I'm sure to be out more and learning how to use it properly. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
