I know what you mean and it does on mine too.
Incidentally old wolf the raynox lens is only about £50.00 and worth more than its weight in gold! |

| | | Re: Lumix G1 extension tube Hi Gill.
I have had the Raynox for a while now and found that it does produce some really good shots.
I also mix it up with other filter close up lenses.
You can see these on my flickr page.
I have just bought a dedicated macro lens for my G1 but have been unable to test it as I am still waiting for the adaptor to arrive.
This lens came with a set of extension tubes so I hope to get some interesting results.
All manual focus though.
Regards
Dave

| | | Re: Lumix G1 extension tube depending on the ext. tubes it comes with you might lose the auto metering (have to set shutter speed and aperture manually for exposure). It might be worth picking up a set with electronic contacts if that is the case.
That lens will get you to 1:2 mag, so you'll probably want to keep using the raynox (not that that is a handicap ) |

| | | Re: Lumix G1 extension tube Thanks for the info,
There is an aperture ring on this lens so no choice but to set manually.
I hadn't thought about setting shutter speed though.
Another learning curve, could be interesting.....
or stressful.
Regards
Dave
