I am sure I used to have a program with the facility to be able to right click on an image and it displayed the EXIF.
Is my memory playing tricks on me or is there one or something similar, and if so where from?

Windows (depending on the version) should be able to do it - right click, properties, summary tab (might need to click "advanced"

Ta | There's a plugin for Firefox that does exactly what you want. Opera has one as well. Dunno about Explorer - but who uses that anyway?
