Damaged CF card

Ok I'm just asking if any one has had this before the gf has had a CF car gone bad on her in a 300D used it as normal all day gone to view the images and got err 02 lucky for here the pins in the camera are A ok so it's a card issue but I've tried to access it through 2 PC's, three card readers and two cameras and none are seeing it except in wanting to format the card. Any one any ideas

Have a peek at it with 'Zero Assumption Recovery (ZAR):

Can you see the images when using it inside the 300D (playback mode)? Or does that give an error as well?

Whatever you don't format the card or try to take any more images with it - you may need to use some sort of drive rescue program to get the images back.

So can the 300d see the photos? Or does it ask to format the card as well?

Right the 300D give an error when the card is put back in and you want to view images error 2 the recover software says there is no data on the disc and I've just held the card and as I move it in my hand I can here the plastic click so it sound like something physical has gone in side lucky it was on a major event but up setting none the less.

I think it will be binned and look like another trip out of a different day to take the images again.
