| | | Re: Sigma 150mm macro versatility Depends from case to case I guess but I cannot speak highly enough of them, they repaired my 150mm macro after I had dropped it two years ago, having spoken to them on the phone the lens was packaged up and posted to them, three days later I recieved a written quote for the repair, I telephoned them and paid for the repair by debit card there and then and the lens was back with me within the week, repaired, re-calibrated and cleaned, in my books excellent service.
I also know of at least three other friends who have had problems with their Bigmas repaired, there again all recieved excellent service. |

It went back twice to be fixed, and eventually they just sent me a new lens. No apologies and no explanation. My lens was serviced in March, and it was only last week that I got a working lens.
Stephen | Sorry to hear that, Stephen, but glad that you (finally) have a good lens.
Though it would be little comfort to you, I hope that your case was the exception.
