| | | nikon fieldscope ed50 advise needed Hi, I have recently purchased and excellent scope with a 27X lens, the ED50. Can you please help me in deciding which is the best suited camera to take good clear pictures with this scope, and the reasons why you think that your suggested camera is the one to pick. many thanks, Carl. |

| | | Re: nikon fieldscope ed50 advise needed Hi,
It's a nice little scope! There are no doubt many digiscopers on this forum who could advise you but have you looked at Andy Bright's digiscoping area on Birdforum? (Google it). Many of the threads are about which camera goes with which scope?
Good luck,

| | | Re: nikon fieldscope ed50 advise needed It is a nice little scope, though I've just sold mine I got reasonable results with a Canon 'A' series camera hand-held because I couldn't find a camera adapter available, though I'm sure one could be either made or ordered specially from someone like SRB Griturn. Any quality digital compact should produce good pictures, a huge zoom is not necessary, just 1x or 2x to reduce vignetting. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
