| | | Re: Jessops stop stocking Pentax ...not good. I remember buying a camera there once. If Nikon, Sony and Canon are buying shelf space then Jessops doesn't look to be in the best financial place to refuse |

| | | Re: Jessops stop stocking Pentax As I've mentioned in another thread, the other day I tried to buy a Sigma lense in my local Jessops & was told it was on back order & would take at least 4 weeks to arrive, though they actually expected me pay for it in advance(and this after I'd just spent £300 on a new camera they fortunatly had in stock)! Having already heard rumours of their financial problems I declined their kind offer & had one delivered next day from an online retailer |

| | | Re: Jessops stop stocking Pentax In my local Jessops it seems to be all Sony and Canon! Not even many Nikon stock items!
Never really had much good to say about the shops or the staff at Jessops though. Mostly (not all!) seem like stock shifters with out a clue what they are selling.
regards.

Stu. | Our local Jessops (Newport, Isle of Wight) is actually quite good. The guys actually do seem to know what they are talking about.
The main stock in the local Jessops is Canon and Nikon with a bit of Sony.

| | | Re: Jessops stop stocking Pentax I have been into Jessops and thought that some of their prices were a bit over the top and from what I have heard from other local photographers, they don't seem to know what they are talking about as momji1971 mentioned earlier.
Our local Jessops mainly stock Nikon, Canon and Sony with a few other brands (not many though).
I have found that other camera shops can offer you more equipment and better advice and sometimes even better prices.
Thanks

From the spec and the preliminary reviews the camera will fly off the shelves! Olympus E-620 Hands-on Preview: 1. Introduction: Digital Photography Review
