| | | Nikon 4500 Hi
Well got my new camera for digiscoping a Nikon coolpix 4500, form Warehouse Express
Need a bit of help with the settings.
Have read instructions but does not help much.
Anyone out there used a 4500 for digiscoping can you help with some of the settings needed.
I know it could be a bit of a long list there is a long list of things in the menu, but any help would be great
Thanks
Mick

Hi Mick - I would be very interested to hear how you get on, as I am thinking of getting a scope for digiscoping, but I have a Fuji S7000, and everybody seems to recommend the Coolpix 4500 for digiscoping!
Also, could I ask which scope you have?
Cheers

Mick | Feel free to send me a private message and I will do my best to help out. I have had the 4500 since it first came out so am used to most of its settings.
Best wishes

I have a Kowa 823 scope with a 32x eyepiece, I like them.
They are a bit heavier then the small ones on the market, but if you want to digiscope you need to get as much light as possible to go to camera.
Mick

Thanks, Mick - I have heard many good reports about the Kowa scopes. Let us know how you get on with the Nikon! |
