In my bird lens poll I forgot to include Nikon. So lets find out what make of camera you use. Keep this one to DSLR and I will do one for Bridge cameras next.

Started with Nikon film cameras (FM and FM2 bodies) then went for a D70 as the first affordable (for me!) DSLR and have just upgraded to the D300.

canon 20D and 300D ( Plus 30E , 3, and 5 in film SLRs)
I also have a mamiya 6x4.5 film camera which i may convert to digital if digital backs ever come within the price range of ordinary mortals

Canon 400D since February before was 7 months with Nikon D40 and previous to that Canon 300D but prefer Canon sorry

Before the digital conversion I used a Nikon F5, and had an F80 as backup. I currently use a D200, but the D3 looms large on my horizon. I still have all my film cameras (including my Olympus OM 1 and OM 2n).

I was just reading the andy rouse review of the D3 - it might persuade me to switch to nikon (If I could afford it) not least for the high iso performance.
