| | | Capture NX I find it terribly difficult to soak in and learn things like Photoshop Elements. I sort of get a grey mist descending in front of me when I hear or read technical jargon. Whether it's because I'm getting older and my brain cells are shrinking or I'm just thick I don't know. However with Elements I bought a book which explains things simply but tells you WHY as well as HOW you do it. This is a great help to me though there is still a long way to go. I saw a a short video on Capture NX on how to use control points and was most impressed and realised the potential so I bought it. The manual is full of facts on what each bit does but does not explain how or why and sends you to sleep! Does anyone know of a book or even better a video (an excellent way to learn I find) that may help me get to grips with things? In fact with the whole business of processing digital images I am at sixes and sevens. Any help much appreciated. |

| | Re: Capture NX Seajay I have been using NX since it was released. You are right in what you say about the included manual. Jason O'Dell respected member of Nikonians and official tester for Nikon decided to create an e-Book on NX entitled: "The Photographer's Guide to Capture NX"
I and many other people who use NX have found it invaluable and he has just recently brought out a first supplement to the original.

Have just downloaded it and had a quick look through. It is exactly what I am looking for and I would think a must for anyone new to Capture NX. It will also solve many other problems I have over workflow etc. You're a diamond! Thankyou. |
