I am thinking of getting a spare battery for my canon sx30 is, can anyone advise me, do I really have to pay shop prices, or are any of the cheaper on line ones any good. |

Hi Acipiter
Have a look for a Hahnel HL-7L battery , it should cost £20-£25
I have been selling Hahnel batteries for a number of years now and found them to be amongst the best available

I have been using the UniRoss batteries in various cameras and electronic stuff, only ever had one problem and they said send it back we will replace it

My thanks to all of you for the advice, I have sent for a Hahnel battery off ebay for £10, I will let you know if it all turn out fine. |

Like Jim, I use 7 Day shop. I've bought batteries for my 7D and my 40D and 20D. Never had any problems with them, apart from one which failed after about 3 years very regular use. Considering the price and the amount of use it got it still worked out as good value.  |
