| | | How does it look to you? I've uploaded an image of a Shoveler in flight to the gallary. It would be great if you could have a look and let me know how it looks on your monitor. I'm using a borrowed laptop at the moment and also having to use a different workflow.
For me the images look great on the laptop, showing them to be full of detail and very crisp. If I look at the same image through my old crt they look soooo sort and the dark areas are complete black with no detail.
Thanks for having a look.

There is a slight hint of blow out on the white areas but that is only a minor thing in relation to the whole image.

| | | Re: How does it look to you? Thank you for the kind remarks, I have been spending alot of time working on my flight shots and this is one of my favourites.
So can I presume that the image looks fine. The issue seems to be very image dependent and I guess everyones monitor displays a little different.
By the way, whos Andrew??
Cheers

| | | Re: How does it look to you? it looks good to me - very possibly a little oversharp along the back although this could be due to the lighting / contrast.
it is definitely worth getting a colour balancimng kit for your monitor - they start at arround 50 notes see here Spyder2express tho you can spend a lot more than that if you want
btw boddie is andrew - i think fj got confused because he put your link up

| | | Re: How does it look to you? Yeh I have tried to avoid spending out on colour callabration as my prints always seemed to represent what I saw on the monitor (crt) pretty well, but with the great difference I see in front of me now between the two monitors I think its time to dig into those pockets.
