| | | Willow tit Well i think its a willow tit i get confused with these and marsh tits, i was told that a marsh tit although having the small bib it has a glossier black cap(head),
anywho, this was taken at a place i used to work aqualate mere near norbury junction staffordshire it is now(i say now but it has been open for a few years) open as a nature reserve which was a shock as the estate owners were very private people, and it was a nice surprise to see deer just strutting about as they only used to be in one specific area. |

| | | Re: Willow tit I think that you were right first time. The bill (without a pale spot) is right for Willow Tit, and there looks like there may be a pale wing panel, it's a nice shot!

| | | Re: Willow tit No white spot on the beak, and as this is a good picture I would have thought that this would have been visible. Therefore I would say Willow. |
