| | | Cable/Bulb release Does anybody know of any Cable/bulb type releases that would fit a Finepix S9500? are there specific models that will only work for certain camera's? i'm ideally looking for something i can use around 6-7ft from the camera and all the ones i've seen are about 10inch.
Thanks |

Thanks | I'm not familiar with this model. I use the S7000 which has a standard thread for a normal cable release on the shutter release button.
What type does the S9500 have? |

Can you make a bracket from the tripod bush (a side on U-shape)
and clamp the end of your pneumatic release above the shutter button
Car accessory shops sell long perforated strips which could be useful
contact me if you need to I shall be here all day

| | | Re: Cable/Bulb release All the reviews of the S9500 state that it has the old standard cable release thread
The pneumatic releases I have used are threaded in this way so should work
Obviously the one you have does not, check that there is no adaptor supplied.
All I can suggest otherwise is make up a bracket

| | | Re: Cable/Bulb release Cheers Nightshade,
The only thing i can think is that the thread is damaged in the camera shutter, when i first got the bulb release it went in, but only just, now it doesn't even do that. Will get my dad to have a look at it tonight as he's good with that kind of stuff
Like you say i could make a bracket | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
