Took this photo this evening. Isnt flare annoying

The flare isn't really very intrusive on this shot.

However, it could be removed by use of the clone tool in any image editing software.

Very easily done in this particular instance, as the area is not part of the main subject and is out of focus.

It should work fine with 2 clicks of the Clone tool. But if you have problems try a lower opacity and have a couple of goes at it.

Alternatively, depending on your software, try one of the 'Healing' tools.

Thanks geoff and mike,i persevered and came up with this. I realised there are different shaped clone tools which made it easier .
Its lost some quality as i had to save as moderate.

Yes that looks fine; and the same procedure applies to any dust on the sensor spotting problems.
