| | | Re: crop or not to crop What a lovely picture Nicola, gorgeous colours and wonderful activity. If it was my picture and I wasnt sure, I would make a cardboard frame and move it about till I had the picture I wanted. I wondered about making it a tall narrow picture to emphasise the height of the chimmneys and the birds above them?

| | | Re: crop or not to crop I can't see anything either, just the dreaded red cross. This is one reason why we prefer images to be hosted on WAB. It might be an idea Nicola to upload the image to the Forum Images Gallery (or maybe the Photo Critique Gallery).

| | | Re: crop or not to crop It is a lovely picture - really vibrant colours. I am not an expert but if it is to be a wildlife photo I would crop it so that the birds are bigger and remove some of the chimney, still keeping it in portrait.

| | | Re: crop or not to crop Keep it as it is. Shows environment, the Jackdaws are in the top 1/3 of the frame, or there abouts, thus compling to the rule of thirds etc!
Very nice I like it! Hello BTW!
