| | | Re: finaly :) Lovely clear pictures Cosmicma no wonder your pleased. There use to be a lot of green woodpeckers near where I lived in Weston Super mare, but they were quite difficult to creep up on so I never did get a photo. |

| | | Re: finaly :) Yes, three very nice images cosmicma. Colour is excellent in all three and your Jay shot in particular has a very pleasing composition.

Stephen | cheers for the replies not had much time to get in front of the pc lately hence the late reply
the first woodpecker ( taken at 300mm ) is quite a heavy crop from 4752 w - 3168 h lanscape cropped to 1540 w - 2310 h portrait
the jay ( taken at 420mm ) was 4752 w - 3168 h landscape cropped to 2112 w - 3168 h portrait so just a landscape to portrait crop to get rid of dead space
the second woodpecker ( taken at 420mm ) is quite heavily cropped too from 4752 w - 3168 h landscape to 1577 w - 2365 h portrait ( all values in pixels )
actual distance would be about 10 meters or so give or take
hope this helps | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
