The only thing which I might be tempted to consider is that on the end of the twig which supports the Nuthatch there is something white which doesn't quite look natural. I think I would have a go at cloning over it; but if that presents a problem, don't bother. |

@Geoff F
iv'e just had a quick look at the original full sized image of the nuthatch and i'm not sure what it is hanging off the branch i will have a go at cloning it out hopefully i won't make a hash of it
thanks for commenting and seeing something i have missed i have a habit of spending time on the main subject i sometimes simply miss things like this and is the reason i posted the images in the first place
i think we all need a little advice or we will just keep on blissfully unaware that things can be improved |

| | | Re: a couple of recent photo's The Nuthatch and the Blue Tit are beautifully composed and very nice exposures. My only observation which could be screen dependent is that the Blue Tit almost looks copy and pasted onto a background, I'm guessing this is down to sharpening.

Great set Cosmica! Geoff's comment is a valid one, it 'looks' a bit out of place.
Being hypercritical, I would have liked to see all of the broken branch, it's cropped, which is a slight distraction.
The Tit looks 'pasted' as mentioned later.
But putting it into perspective, I wish I could have take shots like those! They really are great shots. Well done !! |

Agree with the comments already made. Would add, if you have a little more image to the left of the Nuthatch I would recrop. Leaving some space for him to be looking into. At the moment seems a bit tight.
Regards.
