| | | Re: clikpic websites I use P base which I find to be relatively easy to use and the other members tend to be slightly more serious about their photography than some sites.
But there is a small annual charge.

| | | Re: clikpic websites Hi
I looked at Clikpic, ClickIT and Photium, in the end, I went with Photium. In terms of cost they are all similar, they all offer a similar package based on templates, but I felt that the templates offered by Photium appeared to give a more professional looking site but that is more personal preference. In terms of service and ease of use, I have been extremely happy with this and would recommend them to anyone, also there is a thirty day trial period, which you are probably going to need, the Clikpic one I believe is 14 day.
I think the best thing to do is look at other peoples website who have used these companies and then decide which suits you. They all have links to customer sites as a way to advertise their product.
Hope this helps. |

| | | Re: clikpic websites I too looked at various web hosts including Clikpic, Smugmug, Zenfolio and a few others but eventually decided on Photium as the provider which best suited my needs.
As Lacerta says, Photium's versatility, service and ease of use would be hard to beat.
Hope that helps

| | | Re: clikpic websites I am another photium user.
I chacekd out clikpic and the like and then went for the 30 day trial.
The options for the templates and colour schemes are quite extensive and on the rare occasions I have hit a problem (usually my own incompetence
) their support team have been quick to respond and really helpful.
I was also impressed by how quckly they registered the domain name I chose.

| | | Re: clikpic websites Thanks for your replies. I have spent some time adding up the pro's and con's of each provider.Still undecided as yet,i have noticed that photium is quite alot more expensive for the less basic packages. |

| | | Re: clikpic websites I use Clikpic. Its very customizable and you can pretty much create the look and function you would like. You can of course just use one of their templates but I think they benefit with some personal touches. Its probably just me but I am having to contact the support team quite often figure out why something hasn't worked or changed. A bit like now where my live site shows my main fonts as one thing but within the preview admin I have set it as another, very frustrating.
I think when this subscription runs out I will be tempted to look else where.
