Unfortunately the gear has not made me a better photographer, but I now shoot high quality rubbish!

| | | Re: Kingfisher Critique Please ..... Just a quick note for you strange 7D users (strange 'cos you use canon ).
Read some info from a canon geek over on another forum. Apprently the 7D is a little unique in that it has 2 green filters. To get the very best image quality, the raw files need to be processed through your canon raw converter before being taken into PS.
Better IQ and less apparent noise!

Hi and welcome to wab wiganlad. I'd love to say it was just around the corner but alas - it was cross country to Far Ings Reserve at Barton on Humber!!! We went across cos it was many years since I had last been there (about 28 years!!) and it wasn't a reserve just some abandoned pools on that first visit, so I was curious having seen some cracking shots by other photographers being taken there. Its a crackin place and well worth a full day out - for the best poss Sept and Maytime? Tho I will go when the spirit next moves me just for the day out and take whatever is (or isn't!) knockin about!

Sorry if this is a bit late in posting, but if you (PMG) have to edit the brightness levels to come out brighter on WAB you should really look into investing in a monitor calibration device, something like a Spyder 3 express, since I calibrated mine, everything certainly looks the same as on my monitor, compared to the web, camera lcd and prints (coupled with a printer profile). For pintouts I would recomend using Permajet papers and take advantage of there free profiling service. |

Yes I use Permajet - its a delight isn't it - I love the rough 'artist' type papers - birds printed in this stuff look amazing - far far better than on any glossy no matter how expensive!! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
