| | | Re: Bluetit processing critique Thanks Jim,
On a calibrated monitor I would think you have a better view of how the image actually is. I'll have a look at the levels and see what I can come up with. I'm still getting to grips with levels, i have an understanding but need to sit and really practice on those.

| | | Re: Bluetit processing critique Hi Toby I agree with Jim the only thing that I can see that may need adjusting is a slight tweak to the levels to bring up the whites a touch otherwise nothing else needs to be touched a nice and perfectly executed shot well done
I took the liberty of trying it out myself in Photoshop and tweaked the levels hope you don`t mind

| | | Re: Bluetit processing critique I don't mind at all Bill, whites look better but not sure what happened to the sharpness there.
Taken the comments on board and tried to bring the midtones out a bit -
Any better?

| | | Re: Bluetit processing critique I downloaded your pic and had a 'play' but couldn't improve on it and I noticed that when it appeared in my photoshop it was lighter and even better than it looks here on wab! I very often forget but a lot of my pics need extra lightening before uploading to wab - perhaps something to do with my monitor settings. But on my screen Toby at full size and zoomed in to just the bird and a bit of branch it looks terrific - so keep doing whatever it is that you're doing would be my advice!
