I've come back to this tonight Jeff and copied it off to my drive and found there is a lot more detail in the black than shows on wab - which made me think I liked it darker and less able to see anything in the background - also I cloned out part of the branch on the right - well faded it gently away cos I thought it might stop my eye wandering up to see where it was going. Anyhow I changed my mind and put if back how it was - it needs the balence of the branch being visable but the darker background is better

On my screen I see the branch on the right edge in the distance but not on the left in the forground. I'm viewing on my Macbook which I have basically calibrated and always relates well to prints in contrast and colour.

I just presumed it was like I commented, a low key image.
