The weather caught me right out today. I hadn't planned to go anywhere as it was forecast rain for most of the day but by 09:30 there was hardly a cloud in the sky.

I was drawn to Whitacre Heath in the hope that the Lesser Spotted Woodpecker would show. I wasn't dissapointed and actually got about 50 photos of the same quality that are shown below. I have also added a few more birds taken at the same reserve.
